Registration for a Exchange Program
First, select your ideal Japan program, create an account, and proceed to register for your stay in Japan using our obligation-free registration form. Within the form, choose the "Own Apartment" option provided.
Search for a suitable Apartment
Next, we collaborate with real estate agents to locate a suitable apartment for you. In Japan, there are limited options for short-term rentals available to foreigners, and apartments become available and are rented out quickly. Therefore, we will finalize your apartment arrangement shortly before your departure.
Arrival in Japan and finalization of the Rental Agreement
You must be present in person to sign the rental contract, so booking a hotel room for the initial 5-10 days is essential. Upon your arrival, we will schedule a viewing appointment for your chosen apartment or multiple available options. Once you select an apartment, the rental contract will be signed, and the apartment will typically be available a few days later.
Furnishing your Home
The final steps include arranging contracts for water and electricity supply. Additionally, it's important to secure insurance to cover damages from fire or earthquakes. Lastly, you will need to purchase essential furniture items such as a futon and fridge.
